Fantastic Victorian puzzle game
Helsing's Fire is a dark gothic puzzle game set in a Victorian world attacked by count Dracula's evil horde. Helsing and his assistant Raffton are on a mission to make everyone safe from these foul creatures of darkness.
It is very rare to find a game that's genuinely new, but Helsing's Fire really is a new type of puzzle game. Each level has a number of monsters hiding in it, and you must expose them using torchlight, and then kill them with the correct tonic. Using the surrounding objects, you have to carefully place your torch so the light only touches the things you want to kill with your potion. Hit a blue monster with a red tonic, and it will actually grow a shield, and you must always avoid killing damsels in distress!
Helsing's Fire is really easy to pick up, and the levels are always interesting as new ideas, monsters and tonics are brought in. The game is beautifully presented, with really stylish menus and pop ups, and a some great in-game effects. The music and sound effects are also really well done, but it's the writing that makes Helsing's Fire into something really special. Helsing's Fire is an incredibly humorous game, and the conversations between the protagonists are fantastic. With 120 levels and an 'Endless Survival' and 'Online Bounty' modes, the game has hours of gameplay, and is constantly inventive. This HD Helsing's Fire features more detailed graphics.
Helsing's Fire is one of the best iOS games you'll play. The gameplay is brilliant and the presentation overall is as good as we've ever seen on the platform.
